Our shortlisted productivity apps let you do various daily life tasks easily and in a better way. The following apps let you take quick notes, backup notes and photos, manage travel list, create to-do lists, saving web pages for reading offline, keeping track of your finances – all free!
1. Evernote
Evernote is an easy-to-use, free app that helps you remember everything across all of the devices you use. Stay organized, save your ideas and improve productivity. Evernote lets you take notes, capture photos, create to-do lists, record voice reminders–and makes these notes completely searchable, whether you are at home, at work, or on the go.

2. Simplenote
Simplenote lets you store notes, lists, ideas and more on your device. Your notes automatically synchronize with your computer and all your devices. It’s extremely easy to use. For those who want more power, you can also use tags, pins, versions, and sharing.
The free version of Simplenote slides a small, high quality ad to the top of your note list. If you like Simplenote, but you don’t like ads, you can subscribe to Simplenote Premium.
3. TripIt
Get peace of mind while traveling, by having all your plans in one place with TripIt iPhone App. TripIt “automagically” takes all your trip details and creates one truly helpful itinerary that’s there when and where you need it – on your iPhone or iPad, sync’d with your calendar, and online at tripit.com.
4. Instapaper / ReadItLater
Instapaper and ReadItLater both serve the purpose of saving web content for later reading, and both offer free and paid versions, but they’re still notably different. Instapaper offers you a straightforward and simple way of reading saved content. ReadItLater is a little more feature-rich. Both are great options and you can try them for free to see which you prefer.
Note: Instapaper is now only available as paid app. Its free version is no more available in the iTunes store.
